Blended Family Class
Marriage is hard and blending a family adds its own unique stressors. Joy is found, however, in the privilege of growing together as a complex and completely unique entity with Christ leading the way.
This session was designed with couples in mind who have chosen to unite in the covenant of marriage and accept the charge of parenting beyond the traditional family unit. This class is led by facilitators who have experienced firsthand the joys and challenges of step-parenting and extended family relationships. Collectively, the facilitators have been married for over 50 years and raised blended families of biological and bonus children. Both couples have learned valuable lessons about the importance of keeping God at the forefront of their unions. The sessions will include expert material from some of the most inspiring Christian relationship authors. This class will help you and your spouse envision a path forward toward becoming a blended family experiencing the joy of going and growing together.
