What's Coming to Parkville?
Mountain Christian Church
Mountain is a community of people with diverse backgrounds who explore faith, ask real questions, and walk alongside one another to Love God, Love People, and Serve the World. As the Parkville Campus takes shape, here's what you can look forward to:
- Welcoming weekly gatherings that are all about Jesus and easy to participate in, whether you're familiar with church or not
- Safe, encouraging environments for kids (newborn to 5th grade) and students (6th–12th grade), designed to help our next generation grow and thrive
- Meaningful connections with neighbors and new friends
- Hands-on ways to serve Parkville, supporting needs both in this building and throughout the community
- A no-pressure, judgment-free environment where anyone can come with curiosity, doubts, or a desire for connection and find something real

The EPICENTER Community Center
The EPICENTER is a nonprofit community center designed to support individuals, families, and youth in practical, meaningful ways. As this space comes to life in Parkville, here's what you can expect:

The Vision for This Historic Building
This building has been part of Parkville's story for generations, and we're honored to help write its next chapter. After years of sitting unused, it's now being renewed so it can once again serve as a vibrant community gathering space.
We plan to restore this historic site and open it to the neighborhood in ways that bring life, connection, and opportunity. As renovations continue, here's what we're working toward:
- Preserving the character and history that make this building meaningful to Parkville
- Creating welcoming, flexible spaces for gatherings, programs, and community events
- Designing areas for kids, students, and families to feel supported and cared for
- Opening doors seven days a week through both Mountain Christian Church and The EPICENTER Community Center
- Building a hub of hope and belonging that lifts up Jesus and connects people to one another

Why Parkville?
Parkville is a community with deep roots, strong neighborhoods, and a long history of people looking out for one another. When the opportunity arose to restore this historic building, we saw more than a renovation project - we saw a chance to invest in a place that already has so much character, potential, and heart.
From the beginning, our hope has been simple: to come alongside the good already happening in Parkville and create a space that can serve the community in meaningful, lasting ways.
We chose Parkville because:
- It's a vibrant, diverse community with a strong sense of identity
- There is growing excitement around having a gathering place for families, youth, and neighbors
- We care about strengthening communities, not just opening new locations
- We want to partner locally, supporting what's already working and joining in where there's need
